Job Summary:

The position will monitor, evaluate, analyze, and report on trending risks into the New Season's risk & compliance management system. Will support the compliance team on varying tasks and system management.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Routinely manages assignments for reports made via the incident reporting form, the hotline, the visitor form, etc, that is entered into Ethicspoint, daily.
  • Reviews data trends monthly and provides recommendations based on findings and follows up on action plans in place based on the identified trends.
  • Routinely reviews various data sets in order to understand the trends that affect the business and patient care. Partner with AVP, Clinical & Quality Compliance & AVP, Risk Management/Accreditation on action plans based on trends.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and company rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Works collaboratively with all departments to outline an effective implementation for all initiatives.
  • Monitors and assists AVP, Clinical & Quality Compliance with reporting and tracking systems.
  • Acts always in the best interest of the company; honors, supports, and protects the proprietary rights of the company. Maintain confidentiality and safeguard the operations of the business.
  • Coordinate and complete a series of interrelated compliance/risk related assignments that support the strategic objective of New Season/CMG's compliance department and overall goals of the company.
  • Responsible for fostering teamwork with coworkers, showing initiative in overcoming obstacles, taking actions which assist others beyond job responsibilities, and having a positive impact on co-workers, patients, and visitors.
  • Cross-collaborate, as necessary with the other departments as it relates to data trends and action plans.
  • Evaluate both patient and employee grievances. Identifying trends, and monitoring timely responses based on the company's Grievance Policy.
  • Travels, as needed, to the centers to provide compliance support and oversight.
  • Manages the List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE), required by the Office of Inspector General on a monthly basis. Document those that are on the list and investigate those "HITS" for further details.
  • Reports and reviews the LEIE data with the VP, Compliance and/or AVP, Clinical & Quality Compliance.
  • Ability to perform other duties as required.

Education/Licensure/Certification: Bachelor's Degree

 

Required Knowledge: Knowledge of compliance & risk management systems, including data trending and regular reporting.

 

Experience Required: 2+ years of experience in data analysis, trending, & reporting.

 

Skill and Ability: Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and dependable. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to be self-directed and multi-task efficiently and effectively.
