Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Promotes, suggests and sells merchandise - Merchandising skills and attention to detail - Unpacks, sensors, and prices all merchandise in an organized and timely manner - Meets attendance requirements - Responsible for keeping up with product knowledge of all the brands and vendors carried in the store - Competence when processing cash, travelers checks, checks, credit cards, and room charges. - Maintains cleanliness of store, fixtures and merchandise - Fills out requisition forms - Restocks all needed areas of the store - Greets all guests - Thanks and uses all guests' names when available - Must be able to complete and have knowledge all aspects of the job on a regular basis
Supportive Functions and Responsibilities
- Notifies immediate supervisor promptly and fully of all problems and/or unusual matters of significance - Attends all appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions - Promotes and applies teamwork skill at all times - Is polite, friendly, and helpful to all guests, management and fellow employees - Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area - Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards - Complies with required safety regulations and procedures - Complies with hotel standards, policies and rules - Recycles whenever possible - Remains current with hotel information and changes - Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards - Other duties as assigned
